Acceptance and eligibility
By using UP-GRADEZ you agree to these terms. The platform is for colleges and their authorised faculty, staff and students. Accounts are created or authorised by the institution.
If you accept on behalf of a college, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
Institution responsibilities
Colleges are responsible for:
- authorising users and giving them appropriate permissions
- uploading only content they have the right to use
- the accuracy of the information they provide
- keeping credentials secure and making sure their users follow these terms
Data and intellectual property
Colleges keep their rights in their academic content and the papers they create, and may use generated content for their academic purposes.
The college gives us a limited licence to process its content only to provide the service.
UP-GRADEZ keeps all rights in the platform, software, branding and underlying technology. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer them.
AI-generated content
AI-generated questions can contain errors. Faculty must review and correct content before official use.
The platform assists academic workflows and does not replace academic judgement. The college is responsible for the final papers it uses.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- access the platform without authorisation
- try to reach another college's data
- misuse or share credentials
- disrupt the service
- scrape the platform or use it unlawfully
We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including warning, suspension, termination or reporting to authorities.
Subscription and payment
Fees, payment schedule, renewals, taxes (including GST), cancellation and refunds follow the commercial arrangement with each institution.
- Pricing basis: [pricing basis]
- Payment schedule: [schedule]
- Renewal: [renewal terms]
- Cancellation notice: [notice period]
- Refunds: [refund policy]
Institution-specific agreement
A signed proposal, order form or college-specific agreement may set pricing, scope, support, deployment and data-handling commitments.
If it conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement prevails for that institution.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend access for breach, security risk or non-payment, giving notice where practical.
Either party may terminate with [notice period] notice.
After termination, the institution can export its data during the 1-month period before deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Service availability and liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available. Maintenance and third-party dependencies, such as hosting and AI providers, may cause interruptions.
Our liability is limited to [liability cap] and excludes indirect loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Bengaluru.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We will notify institutions of material changes by [email or in-app notice] [number of days] before they apply. Continued use means acceptance.
